there is a strong overlap with the article on cultural and economic understanding of biodiversity, http://www.coastalwiki.org/coastalwiki/Cultural_and_economic_understanding_of_biodiversity, statements and indications are repeated. the two articles should be joined into one, and the position of cultural values within the ecosystem services approach cleared better (ecosystem services include cultural services, but do not consist of these only) a view on ecosystem services from a cultural point of view highlights a specific historic form or connection between anthropogenic and natural sphere, which must not remain unchanged, think for instance on present "culture" of uses of the sea, as opposed to "traditional" or more sustainable forms of use.
