Definition of Ecotoxicity:
The ability of a chemical or physical agent to have an adverse effect on the environment and the organisms living in it, such as fish, wildlife, insects, plants and microorganisms. [1]. Ecotoxicology: The study of adverse, toxic effects of chemical and physical agents on living organisms, especially on populations and communities within defined ecosystems; it includes transfer pathways of these agents and their interactions with the environment.
