The ICZM Assistant is an on-line interactive tool developed for the coastal professional. It distinguishes itself from other tools by its user friendliness, graphical interfaces and easy accessibility, also for non-experts. It has been developed in an international, multi project-partner context as part of the SUSCOD project. To successfully develop such a tool together with the project partners, a change management approach has been used subsidised. In this article, the tool, the development process and methods as well as the change approach are described.
