The article is outdated. Up-to-date information on the Global Forum can be found on the website Global Forum on Oceans, Coasts and Islands. The section on “Areas affected by climate change” is not properly referenced; it is not clear to what extent this section expresses findings of the Forum or the opinions of the author.
